The 2024 MLB All-Star Game in Arlington will have a distinctly Texas feel, and that includes the players’ uniforms.
The jerseys for the 94th Midsummer Classic were unveiled on Wednesday and feature a design inspired by Texas’ western heritage, with typography and graphics that channel the Lone Star State’s classic vibes but with a contemporary aesthetic. The design also features bold color blocking, modern piping and vibrant highlights that are meant to bridge the gap between the past and the future.
The American League home jerseys have a sand-colored base, with red sleeves and lettering, while the visiting National League jerseys have a navy blue base, with light blue sleeves and lettering.
Although all players in each league wear the same uniform, the left sleeve features the player’s individual team logo, while the right sleeve features the All-Star Game logo.
The All-Star caps feature a similarly striking design, with horizontal lines behind the team logo and a single star on the side symbolizing both the All-Star honor and Texas’s “Lone Star” nickname.
This year marks the second time Arlington has hosted the All-Star Game, the first being in 1995.
